Effective June 1, 2023, the Social Security Board has begun accepting new applications for the remaining homes at the Joe’s Hill Manor Estate.
The SSB has decided to withdraw some of the pre-existing applicant criteria; allowing more persons to benefit from the initiative. After allowing first-time homeowners to have first preference, the organization has widened the qualification scope.
To qualify for a home, applicants no longer need to be first-time homeowners, nor do they have to use the home as their intended primary residence. However, what remains is that applicants must be a BVIslander.
Interested candidates can submit their applications directly via the SSB website. To apply, visit www.vissb.vg and select ‘Joe’s Hill Manor Estate’. Further details, including home specifications and pricing, can also be found on the SSB website. The Social Security Board will continue to accept applications until the remaining homes have been sold.
