The Social Security Board and the National Health Insurance (NHI) would like to advise employers and self-employed persons that the Maximum Insurable Earnings will increase effective January 1st, 2027.
- The Social Security Board Maximum Insurable Earnings will increase from $53,400 to $55,536 by 4.000%.
- The NHI Maximum Insurable Earnings will increase from $106,800 to $111,072 by 4.000%.
Employers and self-employed persons are reminded that the increase in the maximum insurable earnings does not represent an increase in the contribution rates, which remain the same.
